SCHOOL OF DESIGN IN NEW YORK
Not like a transfer, but rather a trip that we're trying to put together for all students of the School Of Design here at Fanshawe. There are loads of things to do and see in New York, so many galleries and museums and exhibits to appeal to everyone.

To put this together, we need to take action now. It is possible to get a good deal on this trip, but it's going to require fundraising, which will require commitment, so the question is: do you want to go to New York in the Spring? Badly enough to help raise funds?

One idea proposed already was to produce t-shirts to commemorate the event, the fundraising. Individuals in the School Of Design submit their designs for inclusion, and are responsible for the word of mouth it would take to sell some. Like? Dislike? We need interest, ideas, feedback, all of it.

Contact your rep from the list below and send them a message to get your own interest known. This can happen.

DESIGN THE SAC NEWS PAGE
It is the hope that the look this page will be updated regularly; all students in the School Of Design are welcome to submit a design if they please, it needs only have an expandable area for SAC News content.

What better way to try out the latest techniques or effects you learned? Email Bobby for more information.

ADOBE SUITES FOR ALL
If you spoke to your reps already this past term, you may be aware that Adobe did make an offer for the benefit of all students in the School Of Design. That offer was to make available the Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection for somewhere between $100–200 per student, the cost of which would be extended to us as a simple increase of the difference onto tuition.

Obviously, this represents an unprecedented reduction in price for the software, and the benefits are almost too many to list. What is required of us now, though, is a firm idea of how many programs in the School Of Design are interested — there can be no option, no backing out.

Be sure to get in contact with your class rep on this matter, especially If your program does not make use of this software or you are not interested in owning your own personal copy.
