Unfortuneatly, I have briefed you all on the incorrect project for project #2. I have updated the link for the correct project that you will be doing. Please download the new project briefing and make sure that you have the correct homework done for next week. I will go over the entire project next class and ensure that everyone understands what is required.

  • Step 5. Repeat this four part pattern so that it fills an area 8"x 8", and Mount it on stiff white card. (like Carolina).

This is due at the start of class Week 3. Worth 10% of final grade must be signed off in class.

If you have any questions, or require clarification, please email me and I will get back to you. Since it might take me a while before I am able to get back to you, please make sure you do so well before next class (ie: don't wait until the night before).

Please READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS carefully and follow them exactly. A lot of homework was handed in this week that was not done properly.

Project 1 review

Due for Next Weeks Class (Jan. 10, 2011):

  • Your Single Letterform cjosen from your first, middle, or last initial. This can be in any font that you choose, but make sure that the fint you choose relates to your store and what you are selling.

  • Your Store Name (the store name dose not have to begin with your chosen letter, but it can if you like).

  • Your store description (what you sell, your target market, etc..).

  • Your pattern of four created from your chosen letter (Minimum of 20 examples).

  • Your store name, store decription, letterforms and patterns should be printed (not rendered by hand) and submitted in clean, organized presentation (make it look nice, but you don't have to go all Martha Stewart for me.
