GRAF5014 -
Week 1 - Jan 12
Welcome Back / Introduction
Welcome back everyone. Today I will be introducing some
of the assignments
we will be doing in this term, as well
as going over course outcome and what
I will be expecting from you each and every class.
Today's Agenda
> Take Attendance / Sign In
> Go over course outcome
> Review critical path for this class
> Go Over Assignment 1 briefing
Today's Class Work Worth 5% towards assignment 1.
Some of the hardest things to design are the smallest. I would like you to
use your design skills, Indesign, and your creativity and to create
a business card for yourself. (note: This is not a marked project, it is just
a way to see where you are at with InDesign.) In this class you will pay attention
to strict prepress specifications for your digital files, and submit them in
the same manner you would for an actual print job. See Business card specifications
below.
